『詩の国秋田』第5号 第2回 日露俳句コンテスト 国別・英語ハイクシリ－ズ（６）

 

年会報『詩の国秋田 : Akita – the Land of Poetry 』第５号のＥパンフレットによる発刊にあたり、「第２回日露俳句コンテスト」の国別・英語ハイク・シリーズを掲載いたします。

第６回目は、ニュージーランド、フィリピン、ポーランド、ルーマニアの俳句愛好者の皆様からのハイクです。

 

The yearly pamphlet Akita – the Land of Poetry, whose 5th volume is posted as an e-pamphlet, presents English haiku submitted to the 2nd Japan-Russia Haiku Contest in 2013.

A great number of haiku fans willingly sent their haiku in English to the contest from 37 nations including Japan.

They compose haiku, the shortest form of poetry of three lines, catching the haiku moment through their observation or insight.

They write haiku, seeking for “pure present”, which might express “the eternal now.”

We sincerely hope that haiku will be shared with each other, which helps us realize the pleasure of writing haiku again.
