defying oblivion –

Hiroshima’s sigh.

 

脳に影響を与える地震

忘れ去ることが出来ない ―

広島のため息

The skies vibrate

under the thunderous drum

at the Meiji Shrine.

 

空が震える

雷の来そうな音の下で

明治神宮にて

In the summer eyes

live iris petals –

the blue butterflies.

 

夏の目の中に

鮮明なアイリスの花びら ―

青い蝶

In your eyes I read

the ‘forget-me-not’ flower.

I fly to Tokyo!

 

あなたの目の中に私は読み取る

勿忘草の花を。

私は飛行機で東京へ飛ぶ
