a sugarcane leaf
tries to shade
the mount Annamalai
(Mount Annamalai is a holy mountain in South India and this is my photo haiku )
サトウキビの葉
陰を作ろうとする
アンナマライ山に
game over
reaches to mother’s arm
a baby squirrel
ゲームオーバー
母の腕に達する
赤ちゃんリス
your shadow
hides the light
move little away, Buddha
あなたの影
光を隠す
少し離れて、仏様
tiny temple bell
just before hanging it
a kin
小さな寺院の鐘
吊す直前
血族
so many decades
waiting for a haiku
ending with God
何十年も
俳句を待っている
神とともに終わる
opening time
the temple door swivels
half buddha’s vision
開始時間
寺院のドアが回転する
仏の半分の幻影
a ray from
the distance mountain
is it from a lamp or divine
光線
遠い山からの
ランプからだろうか、それとも神からの
a flower drops
on the waterfalls gives
fragrance to water
花が散る
滝に与える
水への香り
step by step
flying distance butterfly mingles
with vacuum
一歩ずつ
遠くを飛んでいる蝶は混じる
真空に
on each step monkeys
after reaching mountain peak
still monkeys
ステップ毎にサルが
山頂に達した後
それでもサル

Brief Bio:
Arunachalashiva Ravi Sankar is 55 years old, male, professionally Structural engineer from Chennai, A Southern part of India.
Since 1990, he is writing haiku and published 4 haiku books and 1 haibun book in Tamil, his mother tongue.

He feels haiku is a technique of meditation and follow it in his life.
