the sky is bright blue –

the cuckoo added

a couple more years

空は真っ青

カッコウが付け加えた

あと数年を

evening fog…

and the youngest son

has his cigarettes

夕霧

末の息子は自分のタバコ

son cuts watermelon –

afternoon nap

of the first day

息子がスイカを切る

初日のお昼寝

leaf fall

mom whispers

a lullaby

落ち葉

ママがささやく

子守唄

 full moon

little brother gets

the right breast

満月

弟がもらう

右胸

the parent’s garden

and the grandchildren, and this nettle are

not mine

両親の庭

そして孫たち、そしてこのイラクサは

私のじゃない

naughty curl …

classmate draws

a sprig of cherry

いたずらなカール

クラスメイトが描く

桜の小枝

port in the distance

the crane pulls

all sorts of stuff out of the fog
