Морось бьет в лицо

и слякоть под ногами —

утро в октябре

Drizzle hits the face

and slush is under the feet —

Morning in October

Сосновые шишки

бью тся об ледяную гладь

Финского залив а

Pine cones

beat on icy expanse of

Finnish gulf

Яркое солнце.

В ноябре ослепляет

первый снег

Bright sun.

The first snow blinds

in November

Карканье вороны

выв одит б езлюдный ле с

из звенящей тишины

crow’s croaking

brings deserted forest

out of dead silence

В туманную ночь

фонари заменяют

звезды

On a foggy night

city lights replace

the stars

Вид из окна:

Флаг сливается с закатом

под звуки молитвы

View from the window:

The flag merges with the sunset —

Sounds of prayer

Как рыбья чешуя

искриться соленая вода.

Солнце в зените

Salt water sparkles

like fish scales.

The Sun at its Zenith
