digs up my potatoes

only one planet
in the string from the sun
with no god’s name

a vixen keeps watch
five fox cubs tumble in spring
sunshine outside the earth

fold upon fold
once a tropical seabed
making mountains

it goes for evvvvvver
the world from a window-seat
toddler’s first flight
