Haiku by Štefanija Ludvig
rainy autumn —
under the boletus hat
the ant camp
winter sun —
warms up the day
again with delay
land and island —
a bridge just opened
with hope and peace
playful storm —
spills its foam
on the ship’s glass
nearby pasture —
thoroughbred horses graze
in freedom
the morning whiteness —
cherry petals more and more
luxuriate
by the quiet ocean–
magnificent creatures
breaking waves
finger on the Globe
I’m looking for a place
for inspiration
the war memorial —
on the crosses with roses
a drizzling rain
on Hvar
sown by a sandstorm
Japanese iris seeds
