Haiku by Anna Maria Domburg-Sancristoforo

Mongolian steppe —
the flight of an eagle
into infinity

inner dunes—
the birds sings
more melodiously

in Haiku Dialogue, April 6 2022

sea breeze
when even the moon
tastes of salt

closed flowers
the remote hills
of my childhood

dandelion seeds —
a warm wind

through the woods

landslide …
pieces of a puzzle
blooming in the mud

red rocks —

sunset shadows

on the mountain

great green bush-cricket
a taste of grass
after the rain

mudflat hiking
the squish of salt marshes
under my feet

in Haiku Dialogue, 27 July 2022

closer to the earth

the bare trees —

full moon
