the exhausted horse neighs

to wake his rider up

家に着くと

疲れ切った馬がいななく

乗り手を起こすために

windy evening

the door-rings clatter

without a visitor        

風の強い夜

ドアのベルがカタカタ鳴る

訪問者はいないのに

cracking whip

the galloping horse’s

heavier steam        

鞭の音

疾走する馬の

より重い蒸気

fireplace chat

some shadows dance

up on the ceiling

暖炉での会話

影が踊り上がる

天井に

intermittent rains

on and off and on again

without a button

断続的な雨

降ったり止んだり、また降ったり
