HAIKU to Akita’s “Haiku Beyond Earth”
*
the dawning
of the new moon in March
refreshing air
*
new moon of Shiva
colder days too will pass
away
*
searching for
a new horizon
the snow moon
*
raising my eyes
beyond the winter sky
Lenten fast
*
the Chinese New Year
I hunt for dragons
in the sky
*
journey of light
my communion with
the Pleiades
*
wolf moon rising
the epiphany of
my self fears
*
the constant
gaze of Orion
in January
*
my long dark
night of disbelief
a cold moon

Note: Short Japanese Poetry of 17 phonetic Units of 5, 7, 5 Pattern
Inspired by ten English haiku by Kenneth Daniels, Hidenori Hiruta translated them literally into ten Japanese short poems first of all.
As a result, the interpretative Japanese poems of 5, 7, 5 pattern are added to the English haiku as above. Some of them might be haiku(俳句), and others senryū(川柳).

Bio:
My name is Kenneth Daniels, a member of Science of Spirituality Meditation Center, www.sos.org, under the guidance of Sant Rajinder Singh ji.
I began writing haiku in 2009 on Facebook. I live in Georgetown, Guyana, South America and have not yet visited the countries of the four seasons. My haiku are therefore purely imaginative but based on personal experience in my life, self introspection and aspirations shaped by the themes of meditation, fellowship and brotherhood.
Besides haiku and other Japanese forms, I write couplets and now attempting to do English Doha (taken from India) poems.
My blog is ” The Lotus”@drshn3.wordpress.com
I believe the hope of humanity lie in Meditation on the Inner Light and Sound Current with the guidance of a Spiritual Teacher and the goal of life is Self Knowledge and God Realization.

All beautiful 😍 Congratulations to the poet and huge thanks to Hidenori Hiruta San for his fantastic work 🙏
Beautiful set of haiku 🙏🏼
