Note: Short Japanese Poetry of 17 phonetic Units of 5, 7, 5 Pattern
Inspired by ten English haiku by Julia Guzmán, Hidenori Hiruta translated them literally into ten Japanese short poems first of all.
As a result, six interpretative Japanese poems of 5, 7, 5 pattern are added to the English haiku as above. They might be haiku（俳句）or senryū（川柳).
And four of the English haiku are interpreted into Japanese tanka （短歌）poetry of 5,7,5,7,7 pattern.
This is because English is different from Japanese.
Bio:
M. Julia Guzmán was born in Córdoba, Argentina where she lives.
She studied at the National University of Córdoba . She graduated as a teacher of English and English Literature as well as a Public translator.
She is retired now. She is an amateur photographer. She studies sumie and loves the Japanese culture.
She started the haiku-do in 2007 and since then she has been reading, learning and giving haiku workshops all around Argentina.
Her haiku have been published in Medellin, Colombia, Spain, Ghana, the Netherlands and some other parts of the world.
Some of her haiku have been published in The Asahi Shimbun, The Mainichi Shinbun and Haikuniverse.
She loves translating haiku in order to share with the rest of the world.She participates actively in important haiku groups in the Internet.
She was a teacher of the first virtual Spanish Haiku School “Makoto” from 2018 to 2020.
