On December 19, 2024, a meeting was hosted by the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China at the Chinese Consulate. It was dedicated to haiku about love, stories about a tiger, and contacts between Russian and Chinese poets and writers.
Voronoi Oleg was invited to the meeting “Reception at the Chinese Consul’s” because his book about the tiger was published in Beijing in Chinese, and the books “Haiku about Love” and “Rays of the Lotus” were published in Moscow in Russian, English and Chinese.
His Russian haiku have been translated into English and Chinese because haiku are popular in English-speaking countries and China now.
