NOTE:

In ancient China, wild geese and fishes were believed to be able to deliver letters and messages for human beings. This haiku is based upon a traditional poem by Yan Shu, a Chinese poet of Song Dynasty.

雁が雲間を舞い

魚が水面を滑るように泳いでいるとき
