Yasir Farooq’s Brief Bio:

“Born in Karachi, Pakistan in 1976. Taught Economics at a college. His soul has strong bond with trees.

Haiku and Senryu of the nature lover started the publication journey with Mr. Alan Summer’s journal ‘The Bloo Outlier’ in 2020.

From then, a number of journals like Frog Pond, The Pan Haiku Review, Chrysanthemum, Bones, Failed Haiku, Enchanted Garden and Mamba including Asahi Haikuist Network published his works.

One of his environmental haiku was featured by Haiku Foundation reVirals.

What a good luck that the Cold Moon Journal nominated his haiku for the Pushcart Prize in 2021!

However, the haikuist is still awaiting his magnum opus.”
