polly seeds in beak
the parrot takes wings
towards the sun

くちばしに向日葵の種
オウムが羽ばたく
太陽に向かって
 
lakeside park
her dog and mine running
shoulder to shoulder

湖畔の公園
彼女の犬と私の犬が走っている
肩を並べて
 
sleeping late
my dog barks me up for
morning exercise

寝坊する
犬が吠えて私を起こす
朝の運動のため
 
a gust of wind
ruptures the tie between us
the straying kite

突風
私たちの間の絆を断ち切る
迷える凧             
 
winter sleep
the marmot dreams
of an early spring 

冬の眠り
マーモットが夢に見る
早春を
 
children share
crackers with the sea
sand dollars

A Chinese Haiku

晓发梳临水
东升朝旭照河岸
波光映脸盘
 
morning waterside
combing her hair
while the sun is rising in the east
shining on the river banks
the reflected light from the water
on the lady's face

朝の水辺
彼女の髪をとかしている
太陽が東に昇っている間
川岸に輝いている
水からの反射光
女性の顔に
