Earth Day –

my hands resting

on her round belly

アースデー

彼女の丸いお腹に手を休める

burial –

the slow falling

of a dead leaf

埋葬

枯れ葉のゆっくりとした落下

working in the field –

he turns over the earth

and his own story

畑で働きながら

彼は地球と自分の物語をひっくり返す

baby’s first steps –

in grandmother’s garden

his two hands on the ground

赤ちゃんの最初のステップ

おばあちゃんの庭で

彼の両手は地面に

early morning

snowing in the Pyrenees –

the hoarse rooster

早朝

ピレネー山脈で雪が降る

しわがれ声のオンドリ

first sunny days –

the turtles and I

on a diet of salad

最初の晴れた日々

カメと私

サラダダイエット

spring morning –

escaping the storm

a cloud of flowers

春の朝

嵐を逃れる

花の雲

whilst weeding

I pull up the earth

the roots of the past

草取りしながら

過去の根を地球から引き抜く

repotting –

in the roots of the olive tree

my native land

大きな鉢への植え替え 

オリーブの木の根に

私の母国を

Ascension day –

on reading his sms

I come back down to earth

キリスト昇天祭

彼のSMSを読んで

私は地上に戻ってくる

on her nose

all the secrets of the earth –

tortoise awakening

彼女の鼻に

地球のすべての秘密

亀の目覚め
