Bio:

Dinko Sule (Grohote, 1953.)

Lives and works in Grohote/Island of Šolta/ Croatia

Career: Painter and poet

Dinko Sule was presented in the monograph “The Miracle of Croatian Naive Art ”(1996). 

He is the editor of the magazine “Bašćina” (Heritage – history and culture of the Island Šolta).

In cooperation with some scientists, he has been enumerating flora, fauna, the lichen flora and the mushrooms of the Islans of Šolta.

Besides haiku he writes poerty and prose in Croatian and the Chakavian dialect and he has published 19 books of his poerty, two dramas and three plays.

He edited several monographs concerning the Island of Šolta and Eugen Buktenica (1914-1997) a Croatian painter.

Dinko has been presented in “The Encyclopedia of Croatian Literature” (2012).

He was bestowed with an Award for the Life Deed by the town of Šolta (2015).

In 2015, R. Poland honored him with Order “Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej”. His work been presented in three antologies:
