Haiku by Alexandra Ivoylova
the longest day
colors of the sun
across the facades
children playing
with soap bubbles
ephemeral eternities
ghostly faces
along dark allays
smartphones
an industrial zone
above a billboard
a deserted nest
Café du Parnasse
our tea growing cold
next to a pile of books
the sunset dwindles
in the windows of the cars
traffic-jam
shop windows
among reflected crowds
exquisite mannequins
autumn streets
on bus windows
the remains of summer rain
first snow
freezing in the yard
is the last rose
Valentine’s Day is over
the flower woman in the shop
alone
