colors of the sun

across the facades

一番長い日

太陽の色

ファサード全体に

children playing

with soap bubbles

ephemeral eternities

遊んでいる子供たち

シャボン玉で

はかない永遠

ghostly faces

along dark alleys

smartphones

幽霊のような顔

暗い路地沿い

スマートフォン

an industrial zone

above a billboard

a deserted nest

工業地帯

看板の上に

荒れ果てた巣

Café du Parnasse

our tea growing cold

next to a pile of books

カフェ ドゥ パルナス

私たちのお茶は冷めてきた

山のような本の隣に

the sunset dwindles

in the windows of the cars

traffic-jam

夕日が沈む

車の窓に

交通渋滞

shop windows

among reflected crowds

exquisite mannequins

店の窓

映る群衆の中に

絶妙なマネキン

autumn streets

on bus windows

the remains of summer rain

秋の街並み

バスの窓に

夏の雨の名残

first snow

freezing in the yard

is the last rose

In 2022 ALEXANDRA IVOYLOVA received Prix Spécial Europoésie – France, and Honorable Mention at the Third Hoshi no Haiku Star Contest, Japan.

Membership: World Haiku Association, Bulgarian PEN Center, Bulgarian Haiku Union, Elias Kanetti International Society, Union of Bulgarian Journalists, Rencontres Européennes Europoésie. Member of the editorial board of the Bulgarian magazine “Haiku World”.

Inspired by fine works of haiku by Alexandra Ivoylova, Hidenori Hiruta introduces some Japanese Haiku (Japanese/English) from HI (Haiku International) magazine issued by HIA (HAIKU INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION).

 行く先の見えぬ流れや花筏
