According to Tatiana BARBUCEANU, Oprica PADEANU, author of several poetry and prose books, situated discreetly, but consistently on the Japanese tristich rigours.
Like a writer she explored the social-existential theme, like a haijin chose the nature, as base and key for to understand the living in instance.
Thus, her haiku book “Blackbird’s Song” created her the possibility to be on magazines, anthologies, tops, contests both in country and abroad (Australia, Canada, Croatia, Japan, Poland, U.S.A. Taiwan).
Here is a cover of “Blackbird’s song”.
Here are some haiku from “Blackbird’s song”, which are translated into English by Mr. Vasile Moldovan, with my Japanese translation.
This is the last part of summer haiku.
SUMMER SHADOWS
Still life …
in a colour spot
a wasp
In the mother’s house
the bread steams invite me
to remain away
From among the market
the beggar’s prayer
for a coin of bread
Defective balance –
ants sharing
their earnings
At dawn the blackbird’s song –
the orchard bathed
in fragrances
Dewy dawn –
the blackbird’s song like a prayer
without bite or soup
Hay in the clearing –
loomed through the clouds
the Great Bear
Summer evening –
the sky replaced with
neon lights
Echoes of flute –
over the water surface
the sunset
Nobody about –
the shadow of the nut tree
moved by the turtle doves
It is still summer –
under the old book
a cricket chirping
Trees bent with fruits –
again the postman passes on
the mother’s house
A new haiku poem –
in the cherry tree shade
the blackbird on a shirt
No sign of rain…
My Lord, where is Thy Way
where I will go?
