Kala Ramesh is a poet in India, who writes haiku, tanka, haibun, senryu and renku.  

 

Firstly, let me tell you about Kala Ramesh.

Kala Ramesh is a Creative Writing workplace leader. She was previously a Hindustani classical musician, now a passionate haiku exponent.

 

カーラ・ラメッシュは創造的な詩や劇などを書くワークショップの場での指導者である。以前は、ヒンドゥスタンの古典音楽家であったが今は熱烈な俳句の主唱者である。

 

Kala has been telling stories through music and writing for many years. She has conducted Creative Writing workshops with children and adults in Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi – teaching them ways to capture an image, a moment, and showcase it in their own little story – a haiku!

 

カーラは長年の間音楽と執筆を通じて物語を語り続けている。彼女はチェンナイ、ハイデラバ－ド、プーナ、ムンバイ、そしてデリーで子供たちや大人とともに創造的な詩や劇などを書くワークショップの場を運営し、イメージ、瞬間をとらえて、自分自身の小さい話である俳句を披露する方法を彼らに教えている。

Kala’s vision is to help people of all ages tell their life moments and stories through haiku and its allied forms, such as tanka (five-line poem) or haibun (prose embedded with poems).

 

カーラの理想像はあらゆる年齢の人たちが俳句や俳句に類似した形式である短歌（５行詩）や俳文（詩が埋め込まれた散文）によって彼らの人生の一瞬間やお話を語るのを手伝うことである。

 

She strongly feels each art form feeds into the other, enriching the root source of one’s creativity.

 

芸術の形式はそれぞれ他の芸術形式に合流し、人の創造性の基となる根源を豊かにすることをカーラは強く感じている。

 

Kala lives in Pune and is happy to travel to lead workshops.

まだ世に出ていないものから生ずる．．．

far horizons

the crocus catches

a sunbeam

 

遠い地平線

クロッカスがとらえる

太陽光線

 

 

your stark eyes shrink

the gap between us

baby owl

 

あなたのむき出しの目が縮ませる

私たちの間のすき間

赤ちゃんのフクロウ

 

 

liquid sky …

a steel bucket hits

the well water

 

澄んだ空．．．

鋼鉄のバケツが打つ

井戸水

 

 

crossing river boulders

       the moon becomes whole again

 

川の大きな岩を横断し

　　　　　月が再び全部見えてくる
