Haiku by Dušan Mijajlović Adski

 

A thrown stone

is lost in the whirlpool depth –

the learnt my lesson

 

投げられた石

渦の深淵に消え去った-

学んだ私のレッスン

 

The same hill

nearly the same road –

but I’m old

 

同じ丘

ほとんど同じ道路-

だけど私は年老いた

 

Morning in the village –

the dew glow on the

clover and long rabbit’s ears

 

村の朝-

露が輝く

クローバーと長いウサギの耳の上で

 

May greenery

darkness makes denser and denser –

flush of lightning afar

 

五月の緑

暗闇がどんどん密になる-

遠くで稲妻の輝き

 

Аutumn twilight –

the broom’s outline disappears

in a pile of leaves

 

秋のたそがれ-

ほうきの輪郭が消える

葉の山に

 

A bent branch

shakes off the snow

and returns

 

曲がった枝

雪を振り払う

そして戻る

 

Willows by the riverbank –

drop by drop of morning dew

falling into the river

 

川岸の柳-

朝露が一滴ずつ

川に落ちていく

 

The wind is playing

with a yogurt cup –

the cat on its guard

 

風が戯れている

ヨーグルトのカップとともに-

ガードしている猫

 

Willow branches follow

the horse’s breathing in the shade –

summer humidity

 

柳の枝が続く

日陰の馬の呼吸に-

夏の湿度

 

As if it were alive –

dew droplets on the quills

of a dead hedgehog

 

生きているかのよう-

死んだハリネズミの針の上の露の小滴
