weird of afterglow
pearler singing song of moon
breaks sea-solitude
夕焼の運命
真珠の採取者が月の歌を歌っている
海の孤独を破る
matutinal sun
keel swimming to new island
laden with the pearls
朝の太陽
船が新しい島に滑るように進む
真珠をどっさり積み込んで
under summer moon
a pearl in dreamy gull’s beak
marine wizardry
夏の月の下
夢のようなカモメのくちばしの中に真珠
海の妙技
when the tide is out
pearl diver is fetching pearls
from sunken vessel
潮が引いているとき
パールダイバーは真珠を取って来ます
沈没船から
the morning red sky
the pearl diver on board ship
singing ferrymen’s ayres

seaweed under sea

Bio:
Paweł Markiewicz was born in 1983 in Poland (Siemiatycze).
He published his English haiku as well as short poems in good literary magazines of the world, including Ginyu (Tokyo), Atlas Poetica (U.S.), and The Cherita (U.K.).
He has published some poems in Taj Mahal Review (India) and Better Than Starbucks (U.S.).
He has also published poems and prose at Blog Nostics.
Paweł has published more than fifty German-language poems in Germany and Austria, and three Polish-language chapbooks in Poland.
