a child paints dandelions
with ink

子供がタンポポを描く
墨で
shooting stars
in hospital corridor
baby’s first cry
流れ星
病院の廊下で
赤ちゃんの最初の鳴き声
past lovers
faster and faster
the fog lifts
過去の恋人たち
加速的に
霧が上がる
after the war…
in a barrel of a tank
bird’s nest
戦後
戦車の銃身に
鳥の巣
autumn drizzle
in a dirty puddle
my son’s smile
秋の霧雨
ぬかるみの水たまりに
息子の笑顔
moment of goodbye
in my hand
melting snow
さよならの瞬間
私の手に
解ける雪
wave after wave
your shadow
appears and disappears
波から波に
あなたの影
現れたり消えたりする
time of homecoming –
on the son’s suitcase
a robin’s feather
帰省の時間
息子のスーツケースに
コマドリの羽
rain –
drop after drop the lake
steadily overflowing the banks
雨
一滴ずつ湖に
だんだん湖岸を越えてあふれ出る
night pond—
the Big Dipper full
of leaves
夜の池
北斗七星がいっぱい

forget-me-nots

Zuzanna Truchlewska lives in Łaziska Górne, Poland.
She enjoys writing haiku and poems.
She is a teacher in an elementary school.
For her haiku and poems she has been awarded in Poland and abroad many times.

Member of the Polish Haiku Association and editor of the PHA’s Almanac Migratory Birds.
