New Year 

my stiff knees 

are not Buddha yet 

 

新年

私のかたいひざ

まだ仏陀ではありません

 

in dreams 

I grow spring onions

wrinkled hands 

 

夢の中で

春のねぎを育てる

皺のある手

 

quarantined Spring

I share peppermint tea 

with a wild bee 

 

隔離された春

ペパーミントティーを分かち合う

野の蜂と

 

yesteryear 

the speed of cherry blossoms’

fall

 

昨年

桜の花の速さ

落下

 

moon mist

dawn or next life

which will come first?

 

月の靄

夜明けまたは次の人生

どちらが先に来るだろうか？

 

across the ocean

I share the Moon with

the man from Manilla

 

海の向こう

私は月を分かち合う

マニラ出身の男と

 

you left

autumn colours 

make me frail

 

あなたは去った

秋の色

私をもろくする

 

a piece of peace 

what else is there 

that I need? 

 

平和のかけら

他に何があるの

必要なものは？

 

the unknown 

as clouds carry on

I carry on 

 

未知なるもの

雲が進み続けるように

私も続ける
