look at the sky

花の香りと共に
友達が旅行する
空を見る

sanctuary in October-
In the painted circles
only a pilgrim

十月の聖域
ペンキの塗られた円の中に
巡礼者だけ

Sunamachi Ginza-
through the umbrella
the neon lights

砂町銀座
傘を通して
ネオン灯

Shimi Jimi-
the shadow of a woman
in a balcony

しみじみ
女性の影
バルコニーに

Notes: "Shimi Jimi" is an onomatopoeia referring to a person who is meditating or is attentive to something.

hospital-
two dogs expect
day and night

病院
2匹の犬が期待する
昼と夜

slender sugis-
walk along the trail
looking at the moon

ほっそりした杉
経路に沿って歩く
月を見ながら

a girl offers a flower
to a statue

Shibuya crossing-
An old man picks up
a baby cap

渋谷交差点
老人が拾う
ベビーキャップを

Nengajô-
this year I don’t find
the hanko

年賀状
今年は見つかりません
はんこ

I give my grandson
a tiny crane-
he dives it in milk

私が孫にあげる
小さな鶴
孫はそれをミルクに突っ込む

Brief Bio:
Jorge Alberto Giallorenzi was born on 28th February, 1947 in Chivilcoy, Buenos Aires, Argentina. 
He is a photographer, an architect and a haiku lover. 
He does research about Taneda Santoka. Collector of envelopes and tea boxes. 
He gives workshops with Julia Guzmán in different provinces of Argentina. He has published two books of haiku, "Aniko y Akiro", 2009 and "Helechos en la cornisa", 2016. 
His haiku have been published in different anthologies in Spain, Colombia, Japan and USA.
Organizer and editor of “Cutlass Moon Space” haiku plaquettes with the collaboration of Julia Guzmán.
