World Haiku Series 2020 (54) Haiku by Li Xiao

Dear Mr. Hidenori Hiruta,

Thank you for organizing World Haiku Series 2020.

I am sending you some of my poems and haiga (and several photos are attached to the email). My name is Li Xiao. I am from Vladimir (city of Russia). My hobbies are photography, nature walks and reading. I've been writing haiku since 2014.

Verse "the rain stops" was written earlier, but (if possible) put it in place of my photo.

  1. Re:

    Christmas eve

    little angel

    picks his nose

    – this poem (non haiga) commended at the 10th jubilee Polish International Haiku Competition (PIHC) 2020. Great thanks Marta Chocilowska and Polish Haiku Association.

  2. I enjoyed Li Xiao‘s haiku very much. ‘Bluebells…’ especially meaningful as the world tries to reconnect from the pandemic.
