Biography: Ljiljana Dobra (Obradovic) was born in Novi Sad, Serbia. She spent her childhood and youth in Ruma. Now living and working: Šibenik, Croatia. Profession: Economist. The writer Ljiljana Dobra has published seven books of poetry (and one book is being printed) and her texts have been published in appropriate places in collections number of collections in Arabic, Japanese, Indian languages (Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam), Italian, English, Croatia, Serbia, Romany, Bulgaria, Romania esc. She participates in International recitals and poetry competitions, and her poetry has been published in relevant places, in collections and Anthologies. She has received many International awards and recognitions. - The poetess is represented in the Croatian anthology of haiku poetry "An unmown sky 2 - An Anthology of Croatian Haiku Poetry (2008. - 2018.)" – In 2019, Ljiljana Dobra entered the Top 100 haiku poets in Europe. Her first book of haiku, "The Shining of the Firefly," was printed in three languages: Croatian, Serbian and English. He also writes prose, children's poetry, short thoughts, aphorisms and is involved in artistic photography. Ljiljana Dobra is a member of the Croatian Literary Union and many International organizations for international peace, equality, humanity, friendship, unity and social justice. Her latest trilingual haiku collection "Frost lace " won the "Borivoj Bukva" award (Croatian haiku poet, painter and promoter of Japanese culture) for the best haiku collection in Croatia in 2020 from the Croatian Literary Association.
