I celebrate its briefness

世界俳句の日
その簡潔さを祝う
長々と

bitter wife
how fermenting love
turns sour

苦い妻
どのように愛を発酵させるか
酸っぱくなる

hidden
in plain sight 
chattering sparrows

隠されている
明白な視界に
おしゃべり中の雀

in horror
eye of the storm
dilates

恐怖の中
嵐の目
広がる 

ballerina
years of pain
smiled away
