Bio: Réka NYITRAI lives in Bucharest, Romania. She is a Romanian-Hungarian haiku poet. She was born in Transylvania, a land that she truly considers magic. She mostly writes Japanese short forms (haiku, tanka, haibun and cherita), but sometimes she feels brave enough and tries her hand at prose poem, too. Her debut haiku collection, “While dreaming your dreams” was published during this year’s lockdown by MONO YA MONO BOOKS, an independent Spanish publishing house. She would love to live her forthcoming days within a Murakami novel. Thank you for your time, Réka Nyitrai Romania
