new moon night
brightens in sacred fire light
mountain top hermits' abode

新月の夜
神聖な火の光で明るくなる
山頂の隠者の住居

early dew season morning
slowly disappears from sight
monks' pilgrimage on foot

早朝の露の季節の朝
ゆっくりと見えなくなる
僧侶の徒歩の巡礼

shepherd takes rest
but not resting
flute music

羊飼いは休む
休んではいない
フルートの音楽

hearing shepherd's flute music
keeps silence
cuckoo in spring

羊飼いのフルート音楽を聞く
沈黙を保つ
春の郭公

summer lightning
flashes brightly
deciduous forest

夏の稲妻
明るくひらめく
落葉樹の森林

dense banyan tree
provides lovely shadow
full moon night

密なベンガルボダイジュの木
素敵な影を提供
満月の夜

sitting in shadow of tree
I admire the cold moon
full moon night

木陰に座って
寒々しい月に感心
満月の夜

in the falling dew
entirely changes its color
mountain range

降り注ぐ露の中で
完全に色が変わります
山脈

frightens
the water drinking deers in pond
the leaped frog 

おびえる
池の水を飲む鹿
跳躍したカエル

snatches the life of
slipped and fallen dragonfly
the summertime grass

滑って倒れたトンボ
の命を奪う
夏の草
