at last

冬の寒さ
私はうまく失敗した
やっと

a shakuhachi flute
i lean against
the wind

尺八のフルート
私は寄りかかる
風に

the urge
to be born fully ...
hazy moon

衝動
完全に生まれる
かすんでいる月

mackerel clouds ...
too late to abandon
this i

サバの雲
見捨てるには遅すぎる
この私を

bodhi tree ...
i peel off 
all my selves

菩提樹
はがす
私のすべてを

autumn deepens ...
only i am not
in my absence

秋が深まる
私だけがいない
私の不在に

life
the only opportunity to die ...
withered grass

人生
死ぬ唯一の機会
枯草

on temple steps
an abandoned prayer ...
duskfall 

寺院の階段に
捨てられた祈り
夕暮れ

autumn wind ...
without the battle of will
the last leaf detaches

秋の風
意志の戦いなく
最後の葉が分離する

the cemetery
alive with graves ...
night chill

墓地
墓と共に生きている
