Artist/Poet Bio:
Christina Chin, Kuching, Malaysia was the 1st place winner in the 34th Annual Cherry Blossom Sakura Festival 2020 Haiku Contest. Her photo-haiku won 1st prize Award in the 8th Setouchi Matsuyama International Contest in 2019. Recently she won two of City Soka Saitama's 2020 prizes and earned five merits in the World Haiku Review 2020. She is published in the multilingual Haiku Anthology (Volumes 3-6) and the International Spring and Summer Saijiki issues. Christina is published in Haikukai (俳句界) one of Japan’s biggest monthly haiku magazines. Her poems appear in many journals including AHS Frogpond Journal, the Red Moon Anthology, Akita International Haiku Network, African Haiku Network, Akitsu Quarterly Journal, The Asahi Shimbun, ESUJ-Haiku, Presence, Chrysanthemum, The Cicada’s Cry, The Zen Space, Wales Haiku Journal, Prune Juice, Failed Haiku and Cattails (UHTS) and has many more awards and accolades to her name.

Bio:
Randall Vemer, artist, photographer and musician has a number of collaborative haiga which have been widely published. He will be holding a MusArt exhibition at ArtReach Gallery in Portland, Oregon, USA in January 2022. The Curator of the art gallery is also an enthusiast of word art and Christina Chin’s haiku will appear on the slide show wall. Kira Dawn Zeeman Rugen, an award winning composer and Grammy recipient is writing original music to his 40 paintings! Randall and some of the musicians whom he painted for the exhibit will also perform at the gallery. He will publish a MusArt book which will include all Christina Chin’s haiku paired with the paintings.
