An empty room
flowers on a carpet are
under glass smithereens

空の部屋
カーペットの上の花
ガラスの破片の下に

A bed table
one thousand of paper cranes
will be gone 

ベッドテーブル
千羽鶴
消えてしまう

Ruins of the city
little baby in the rain
cries in silence

街の廃墟
雨の中の小さな赤ちゃん
沈黙の中で泣く

To the screams, "Glory!"
the eternal sleep under flags
skylark's song

悲鳴に、「栄光!」
旗の下での永遠の眠り
ひばりの歌

Weeping women 
have roots regrown 
from hair dye

泣いている女性達
髪際を再生させる
染毛剤から

A cold evening
stars in the sky
remember our happiness

寒い夜
空の星
私たちの幸せを覚えている

Whole evening
a cricket mourning
war victims

一晩中
コオロギが哀悼
戦争の犠牲者を

I scooped water 
from a barrel 
and touched the bottom...

私は水をすくった
樽から
そして底に触れた...

Children are playing
with paper planes
a bomb shelter

子供たちが遊んでいる

Instead of thunder 
the rumbling of explosions
springtime

雷の代わりに
爆音
春

Curfew blackout
I have never seen 
so many stars

夜間外出禁止令
見たことがない
こんなに多くの星を

Wartime
dead plants 
are on the windowsills

戦時
枯れた植物が
窓辺に
