Haiku by Vandana Parashar
broken pot
a handful of earth
to the earth
apple season
branches ache with
the weight of the sky
gentle breeze
how the dandelions change
from suns to moons
waterfall
not falling for you
not falling for me
hung jury
no one knows where a river
becomes sea
honeyed noon
not a single flower
single
onset of spring…
the war and then
nothing
deep summer
another bird drops out
of the morning chorus
another day marsh swallows yesterday’s story
wildflowers everywhere is home
