வானத்தின்

காட்சி படலம்

அந்தரத்தில் நடனமாடும் புறாக்கள்

Hollow Space

In the sky

Dancing pigeons

天上の虚空に遊び踊る鳩

Flowers

Feed Honey to

Loving hungry Beetles

花々の蜜を吸ひけり甲虫

Flowers spread

It’s fragrance in air

Without asking

花々の香り広がる虚空かな

***

Hard try couldn’t catch

The flying birds

In the sky

天空の飛翔の鳥や人を越ゆ

Sudden Rain

Gave birth to

Snails

呼び水に蝸牛出づ俄雨

***

Dense forest

Tall trees with branches

Nature’s Window

密林の高木の枝窓の如

Several feet travels

For Water

Roots of Banyan Trees

用水に数フィートだけ旅をするガジュマルの根の伸びて行くなり

Falling Down

Water Falls

Gives Happiness to all

水落下滝と呼ばれる至福かな

Beetle gets angry

with wind for separating

 it from flowers

甲虫風に向かひて怒り出す花のそばから切り離される

Trees

Greet earth

by Showing flowers

地球への木々の挨拶花をもて

Nilgiri Mountain

Road accident inside forest

Disabled Monkey

道路事故ニルギリ山の森の中猿の体に障害起きる

Note: Short Japanese Poetry of 17 phonetic Units of 5, 7, 5 Pattern

Inspired by English haiku by Shanthi Saravanan, Hidenori Hiruta translated them literally into short Japanese poems first of all.

As a result, the interpretative Japanese poems of 5, 7, 5 pattern are added to the English haiku as above. Some of them might be haiku（俳句）, and others senryū（川柳).    　 

Surprisingly, three of the English haiku were interpreted into Japanese tanka（短歌）poetry of 5,7,5,7,7 pattern. This is because English is different from Japanese.

From 1993 to 2015- 22 years I worked in two Construction Company. 

My last position was Deputy Manager. 

2019 – With the guidance of the Writer and Acu Healer Mr. Umar Farooq I started writing haiku, poem, short stories. My articles is being published in vannathirai daily, monthly magazine, bookday, and various monthly magazines and combined books. 

I am a Member of Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers Artists Association (Aram)
