Haiku by Oprica Padeanu, Romania (1)

On December 31, 2011, I received an e-mail from Ms. Oprica Padeanu in Romania.

 Hidenori Hiruta San,

It is an honor for me and a joy at the same time , a sign of kindly collegiality the fact of saluting with generosity a writing flight to Japanese spiritual space.

If time allows you, for a small lecturing, i will send you my tanka book “Mother’ smile” (will be published on January) and my brand new haiku book “Blackbird’s song”.

Until then, being all at the beginning of New Year coming, i wish you, as a Terra’s citizen – joy , blessing, health, good luck in writing and accomplishments that you are expecting from life and beloved ones.

Happy New Year!

Oprica Padeanu

Here is a cover of  “Blackbird’s song”.

It is my great pleasure and honor to post some haiku by Oprica Padeanu, which are translated into English by Mr. Vasile Moldovan, with my Japanese translation.

SUMMER SHADOWS

Field of daisies –

a blackbird enters singing

in my shadow

On the sweep

the halt of a blackbird –

nobody at the water

Bunch of jasmine

covering

the rainmaker’s nude

Cloudy sky –

among the old walls

the jasmine light

House in ruin –

the jasmine flower

leans its threshold

Sea rumble –

some fireflies

broken the dark

Summer night –

the river carries down the valley

sky and stars

Dark sky –

forest lit by

the blackbird’s song

Old tune panpipes –

over the wild flowers

a flash of lightning

Summer rain –

a lady bird sleeping

on a book mark

Daybreak through the rain –

the haiku poem about light

remains in shade

After the storm,

a snail crawling

through the sunny mud
