Here is an e-mail sent from Ms. Djurdja and Stjepan in June this year.
Thank you dear Hidenori Hiruta-san.
Now we returned from another haiku meeting, this time in Ludbreg, a small town in the North of Croatia, The Centre of the Earth.
Again we met our dear haiku pals, shared a day with them. My husband and two haiku friends Milena Ljudmila Mrsic and Dubravko Korbus from our town of Ivanic Grad were with us and we travelled together. We love haiku and love being a part of the wonderful haiku world.
Two days ago I posted a haiku collection by Dubravko Korbus to you, hope it arrives well. He is my husband’s friend. They worked together and Dubravko started to write after reading Stjepan’s haiku, and much talking about haiku.
It is not easy for my husband to say, how thankful he is for all you do for his work.
That fine thread of respect and thankfulness…. it cannot be posted into words.
Haiku belongs to those who belong to haiku.
Thank you.
Djurdja and Stjepan from Croatia
