Let haiku be on the UNESCO list!

Here is a letter of support for the campaign from Ms. Ljudmila Milena Mršić through my haiku friend’s e-mail.

On January 10, 2015, I received such a nice e-mail from Mr. Stjepan Rozic, Croatia.

It says as below, with a letter of support for the campaign “Let haiku be on the UNESCO list!”

Sending you regards from sunny Croatia,

Stjepan Rozic

Ljudmila Milena Mršić, (1942) Ivanić Grad, Croatia, in her telephone conversation with me said following:

Let me greet you from the Haiku Association “Three Rivers“ in Ivanić Grad which I’m member. I have no PC and don’t know English.  I have children and grandchildren who are very busy and I do not want to take their time for my work. But, as a haiku poetess, I found much friendship and understanding among haiku poets of my town, they are helping me and I’ve become a part of the haiku poetry as well.

I wish haiku will always be shared by different people of different nationalities, religions, man and women of various degrees of education.  I hope it will always be here, connecting people of the future times, helping them understand and love Nature and preserve true its true beauty.
