Let haiku be on the UNESCO list!
Here is a letter of support of the campaign from Ms. ZL ATA BOGOVIĆ, Croatia.
We sincerely wish to appreciate and share it with each other.
Dear Hidenori-san,
Today, when our world has been ravaged with diseases, earthquakes, floods, uragas, wars, terrorism, which take away many natural resources and beauties and valuable architectonic monuments and much more, Haiku preserves all, all over the Planet, for haiku is written on all continents.
With haiku, men and women throughout the World write down beauty of the moment which is ephemeral, but by writing it down and sharing with other people, it becomes a part of human world heritage. Haiku, of course, cannot save the World, but he can help and point out that people of different nationalities and various cultures are indeed different, yet so similar and close.
Haiku ennobles and connects people of the world, just like the bridge connects two banks:
MOST THE BRIGDE
Duboko u noć Long into the night
konstruktor u penziji a retired constructor
osluškuje most. listens to the bridge.
This is the reason I respect, love and write haiku poetry, and give him all my support, wishing it enters the UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Haiku deserves that.

MOST THE BRIGDE
Duboko u noć Long into the night
konstruktor u penziji a retired constructor
osluškuje most. listens to the bridge.
