Let haiku be on the UNESCO list!
On January 17, 2015, Ms. Mirjana Ranković Matović kindly sent me an e-mail as follows.
Dear Hidenori-san,
I’m a teacher and beside writing haiku myself, I try to carry haiku forward to my pupils.
I certainly hope one day they will remember my words and as they mature and meet life in its full light and pain, they will write the words down.
Let it be haiku. That way they will belong to a great world family of poets who know the difference and will carry out better understanding towards everything in their lives.
Sincerely,
Mirjana Ranković Matović
