the smell of fish guts

from my father’s tackle box

tobacco smoke

 

私の父の釣り道具箱から

魚の内臓の匂い

タバコの煙

 

the death

of a genealogist

no one notices

 

系図学者の死

誰も気づかない

 

white horses

my mount’s mane lifted

by sea wind

 

白い馬

私の馬のたてがみが持ち上げられた

海風で

 

slippery slope

a runaway shopping cart

and its homeless man

 

滑りやすい坂道

制御できないショッピングカート

そしてホームレスの男

 

tour bus rest stop

nothing quite like 

a warm toilet seat

 

観光バスの停留所

暖かな便座とはほど遠い

a trickle of bats

at sunrise

to disclose

imaginary trout
