Haiku by Kujtim Agalliu

 

1.

The stream flows towards the river

and the water never returns to the spring.

The life.

 

小川は川に向かって流れる

そして、水は決してその源に戻らない。

その生涯。

 

2.

In front of the door

bunches of unexploded grass.

Abandoned home.

 

ドアの前

不発の草の束。

放棄された家。

 

3.

Cut woods,

stacked in the warehouse

early winter…

 

切られた薪、

倉庫に積まれた、

初冬…

 

4.

Not working for years,

it hangs on the wall.

The father’s watch.

 

何年も動いていない、

壁に掛かっている。

父の時計。

 

5.

Winter in the city of Elbasan,

oranges still in the branches,

waiting the first snow…

 

エルバサン市の冬、

まだ枝にあるオレンジ

初雪を待っている…

 

6.

Through the trees branches

birds and leaves are getting thinner.

Autumn

 

木の枝を通して

鳥や葉が薄くなっている。

秋

 

7.

The last cry of the raven,

before going to sleep.

Twilight…

 

オオガラスの最後の叫び、

寝る前に。

たそがれ時…

 

8.

On death stickers

every day a new name.

Life goes on…

 

死のステッカーに

毎日新しい名前。

生活は続く…

The autumn rain.

The rose bloomed late

dreams all the time…

 

秋の雨。

バラが遅く咲きました

いつも夢見る…

 

10.

The roaring cry of the predatory bird,

casts out the dreadful silence,

the forest sighs.

 

捕食性の鳥の鳴り響く声

恐ろしい静寂を追い払う、

森がめ息をつく。

 

11.

Autumn yellow leaves,

they are slowly falling,

a woman towards aging.

 

秋の紅葉、

ゆっくりと舞い落ちている

老化に向かう女性。

Bio:

AGALLIU, Kujtim is the President of Albanian Haiku Club – Elbasan – Albania.

He lives in Elbasan. His hobby was literature and this dream was followed by footsteps all his life.

In addition to literary activity in periodicals such as “Yllka”, “Fatosi”, “Hosteni”, etc., with the beginning of democracy regime, he published the first novel: “Foggy Life”.
