World Haiku Series 2019 (95)
Haiku by Lan Diep
1.
in a moments blink
silently the sun returns
having never left
2.
this form of being
awakes to the light of truth
made so by darkness
3.
holding on
a petal so soon
must let go
4.
whispering blossoms
dear, is it winter or spring?
I too, am confused
5.
In a day
a flower blossomed
I saw you
6.
can you hear?
my heart calling out
silent sounds
7.
sitting here and now
held captive by a blue sky
Buddha says no-thing
8.
What is this? Sunshine!
Hungry eyes feast on blossoms
Pot-bellied bees…bliss!
9.
when in attention
a thought arises loudly
among poppies
10.
connected through love
a fragile lotus blossom
lets go: illusion
11.
Fears of existence
Truth is the only refuge
From summers ashes
12.
in early autumn
a leaf is separated
even nature feels
13.
seeing swiss mountains
snowy as the lovely swan
this traveller dreams

Bio:
Lan Diep was born in Vietnam, belongs in Australia.
Organisational Change Designer, Advocate for Generative Wisdom Cultures, Community Builder, Truth Seeker, Zen Meditator, Haikuist, Fire Dragon and Dreamer.
In sunshine, she recalls memories of belonging in nature.
As a teenager, at the gateway of sleep reality, she often dreamed of vast fields of wildflowers basking in the summer sun.
She is a dreamer.
Some might call her an idealist.
She loves to dream of spaces that recognise and realise the experience of presence: embodied, energised and connected.
So that, in service of the whole, they return back to flow, re-integrated and healed.
Perhaps she is not dreaming, beyond time and space, possibly the sunshine and wildflowers are all part of who she is.
