faraway stars

in the night skies

swirling bats

 

遠い星

夜空に

渦巻くコウモリ

 

frosty sunset              

pink in the window

bullfinch on a brunch

 

凍るような夕日

ウィンドウのピンク

ブランチ中のウソ

 

sun through leaves     

in shadow of ancient linden

beehive

 

葉を通して太陽

リンデンの古木の影に

蜂の巣

 

cold wind                  

in fallen leaves rustling

rainbow crab

 

冷たい風

ざわめく落ち葉に

虹のようなカニ

 

cherry tar                   

smelling of toffee

cloudless day

 

チェリータール

タフィーのにおい

雲ひとつない日

 

old shoes

crumpled bow remembering

dancing lessons

 

古い靴

しわくちゃのふちが覚えている

ダンスレッスンを

 

fireflies

handful of emeralds

in a palm

 

ホタル

一握りのエメラルド

手のひらに

 

sand on lips

under the reed roof

wild rose tea

 

唇に砂

葦屋根の下

ワイルドローズのティー

 

sun rising

on misty islands

campfires die out

 

日の出

霧の島に

キャンプファイヤーが消える

 

cosy shade

under cedar needles

delicate daffodil

 

居心地の良い日よけ

杉の針の下

繊細な水仙

Bio:

Liudmila Skrebneva was born in 1960 in Tambov, Russia and has lived in Kazan since 1969.

She graduated the faculty of Biology of Kazan Federal University. She has PhD in Ecology.

She is multiple prizewinner of the tanka and haiku competitions of the magazines «Poetry» and «Wildflowers» (Moscow), of the International Haiku Competition МКХ-10, МКХ-11 (Moscow; 2018, 2019); competition «100 russian haiku for Akita» (Japan, 2017), competitions “Fairy tale today “(Germany; 2018, 2019). 

She is married, has a son and a daughter.  Her hobbies are flowers, dancing (flamenco) and a little poodle.
