cherry fragrance –
in a pink whirlwind
passionate kiss
さくらんぼの香り
ピンクの旋風の中で
情熱的なキス
flag’s still flying –
just a few memories carried
by the wind
旗はまだ翻っている
ほんの少しの思い出が風で運ばれている
Titanic-
in the waves roaring
radio silence
タイタニック
ごうごうと鳴る波の中に
無線停止
summer heat –
buried under pebbles
creek melody
夏の暑さ
小石の下に葬り去られた
小川のメロディー
transit area –
travellers and cockroaches
both in a hurry
トランジットエリア
旅行者とゴキブリ
両方急いでいる
children’s story –
in the old man’s eyes
patch of blue sky
童話

lunar eclipse —

Brief bio :
Nicole Pottier is a french haiku poet. Her haiku poems and haiga regularly appear in many languages in reviews like Haiku, Albatros (Romania), Haiku Canada (Canada), Ploc!, Haikouest (France), Diogen Pro Kultura ( Croatia), World Haiku Association (Japan).
In 2014, she won the First Prize in the international Haiku Foundation Contest (USA) for her haiku in English in the traditional category, and a third prize in the 19th international contest « Kusamakura » (Japan).
In 2016, she won an honourable mention in the 20th international haiku contest « Mainichi » (Japan).
In 2017, she won an honourable mention in the 15th UkiaHaiku festival in the Jane Reichhold International category (USA).
She’s member of the board of « Haiku review », in the Romanian Society of Haiku (Bucharest).
Since 2019, she is redactor for the review « Albatros », published by the Haiku Society of Constanta where she is member since 2017. She is the organizer of the annual haiku contest of this society.
