Bio:

Simon Hanson lives in Tasmania among pines, tree-ferns and eucalypts in the company of echidnas, wallabies, various lizards and snakes, hawks, owls, robins and wrens.

He is Secretary to the Australian Haiku Society and co-editor of Echidna Tracks: Australian Haiku.

Drawing on a love of nature and life experiences tinged with wonder and a sympathy for the magical much of his writing tends to be highly imagistic.

Mr. Simon Hanson kindly and delightedly presented two photos for the World Haiku Series 2019.

One is the photo of midnight moon.

The other is the photo of Lily pond.
