World Haiku Series 2019 (212)
Haiku by Drago Štambuk
With each koto
one petal falls.
with a painted fan
points the way.
Eating the mushroom
quickens my heart.
Drop in old snow
like a bullet
At the lake shore
become my heart’s beat.
of the drowned oak tree
call for help.
From the field dew
to the sea foam
rises an arch of pain.
your short life.
on the flower.
waved by the wind.
