Social distancing…
when will it ever become
a remote memory?
人と人との間隔を保つ

遠い思い出に

locked up in their cage

A vagrant confined
in his cardboard box
on the empty street

Short Bio:
Keith A. SIMMONDS was born in Barbados and is a citizen of both Trinidad & Tobago and France.
He was a teacher of French language and literature at the secondary-school level in Trinidad & Tobago for twenty-five years.
