boy with the guitar

over his furrowed cheeks

streams of tears

ギターを持つ少年

しわのある頬に

涙の流れ

two ruby-red leaves

a draft for the carpet

on the autumn soil

真紅色の2枚の葉

カーペットの線画

秋の土の上

October rain –

an acacia shoot

in the shelter of a leaf

十月の雨

アカシアの新芽

葉の隠れ場に

May breeze –

spots of light jump

across the forest path

五月のそよ風

光が点々と跳ぶ

森の小道を渡って

just after the rain

fleecy clouds wave

on the village road

雨の直後

ふわふわした雲が揺れ動く

村の道を

squeaky key –

the cold is blowing

from the inside

きしむキー

寒さが吹きつけている

内側から

a spider web

from trunk to trunk –

a leaf on the dryer

蜘蛛の巣

幹から幹へ

乾燥機の葉

alone on the path –

a falling leaf rustles

past the branches

道に一人

落ち葉がざわめく

枝を通り過ぎながら

end of October –

cold in the old pear tree

is setting fire

十月末

古い梨の木で寒い

火をつけている

trees sunken

into the soft greyness

rainbow on the ground

沈んだ木

やわらかい灰色の中へ

地上に虹

Bio:

Ivanka Kostantino (1952 -), a retired worker in a textile factory, is living in the village Smihel – Nova Gorica in the SW part of Slovenia.

She has been writing haiku for ten years.

Her haiku were awarded in Slovenia and other republics of the former Yugoslavia.

She has published one haiku book.
